RECIPE FOR LIFE!
Find a place of peace and populate it
with two people who enjoy each others company.
Mix lightly with an affection for each other
and a large portion of willingness to trust.
Take a well matched faith that they will be able
to add to one another's enjoyment.
Brown with tenderness and turn slowly
mixing in a generous serving of adoration.
Knead through a thin consistent serving
of shared comfort topped off with foot rubs
And the occasional back rub too.
Now take a full portion of cherish
and garnish it with a sense of wonder and a sigh.
Combine all this with a breathless sense of evening warmth
coloured by the purple hues
Of the last rays of sunset.
Finally let the sound of waves wash over the ingredients
as you let them stand and blend
To make a final condiment which can be nibbled
and consumed with a faint smile
Warding off the wounds and bruises
that occasionally life doth send.
Keep this recipe as a sacred thing --
But no secret. Pass it to your children, your friends
And even those not close to you.
For surely the world will be a better place if we can all partake
Of the wondrous beauty that our maker gave
To show his love and care - not just for a few
But for all to share!
